What´s the Cabinet of Curiosities?
A Cabinet of curiosities is a place with a lot of stranger items or a determinate type of articles same as a museum or expositión.
In the past they were very fashionable. Many scientists or people with monetary resources or collectors, has an cabinet of curiosities in which they showed his collections of rare or strangers objects and they were receiving a small monetary compensation from the public. They can to be real things as a dog with two tails, a baby with two noses ... but also can exist many falsifications as sirens, or fantastic creatures. In the cabinets of curiosities even can to do spectacle to impress the public, things like phantasmagorias or magic of lantern.

Well, I have decided to begin a small project of Cabinet of Curiosities with the help and collaboration of a friend, Obscure,
who in addition was the one suggested a project of this style as a whole.
It is a series of drawings, statements and images that they will manage to form our cabinet of curiosities, with his diverse and fantastic personajes and figures, to whom we will try to give life thanks to the use of some BJD cosplayed of strange personajes (Ball jointed dolls), Obscure's great art with his drawing and to color, and a small contribution of short statements in those who will explain to themselves events of our small Cabinet of curiosities, as well as descriptions of the personajes.
I have begun raising some photos with personajes in the shape of BJD customed, I hope that begin to enjoying them in this small project. Suggestions admit also for new personajes that want to see in the cabinet, we will try to weigh the ideas and to give them life thanks to cosplays and drawings.
with more time i will be raising more journals with information of the personajes and his presentation.


¿Qué es un Gabinete de Curiosidades?
Eran lugares con artículos barriopintos, con fines centíficos o de la historia o evolución, colecciones de inventos o aberraciones, como un museo o exposición.
Antiguamente estaban muy de moda. Muchos cientificos o gente con recursos monetarios o coleccionistas, tenian un gabinete de curiosidades en el que exponian sus colecciones de objetos raros y cobraban una pequeña entrada al público. Podrian encontrarse cosas reales como un perro con dos colas, un bebe con dos narices... pero tambien habia muchas falsificaciones como sirenas, o criaturas fantasticas. En los gabinetes de curiosidades incluso de podian hacer espectáculos para impresionar al público, cosas como fantasmagorias o espectáculos de linterna mágica.

Bien, he decidido comenzar un pequeño proyecto de Gabinete de Curiosidades con la ayuda y colaboración de un amigo, que además fue quien sugirió un proyecto de este estilo en conjunto.
Se trata de una serie de dibujos, relatos e imágenes que lograrán formar nuestro gabinete de curiosidades, con sus diversos y fantasticos personajes, a los que intentaremos dar vida gracias al uso de algunos BJD customizados de personajes extraños(Ball jointed dolls), el gran arte de Obscure a la hora de dibujar y colorear, y una pequeña aportación de relatos cortos en los que se explicarán sucesos de nuestro pequeño Gabinete de curiosidades, así como descripciones de los personajes.
He empezado subiendo algunas fotos con personajes del gabinete en forma de BJD customizados, espero que empeceis a disfrutar con ellas en este pequeño proyecto. Se admiten también sugerencias para nuevos personajes que os gustaria ver en el gabinete, intentaremos sopesar las ideas y darles vida gracias a cosplays y dibujos.
Poco a poco iré subiendo más journals con información de los personajes y su presentacion.
